We update our tests weekly to stay current with the DAT year-round. Bootcamp’s practice tests are famous for being uncannily representative of the real DAT. Our practice tests are the most representative of the real DAT.However, it is also to be noted that the main appeal to the Jacksparrow deck is its comprehensiveness. There are many good resources to study for the DAT, but I think DAT Bootcamp stands out in 3 ways: Obviously, the MCAT isn't an all content test. Therefore, that begs the question whether you really learn all the 'comprehensive info' in the deck. If you press good nonetheless, then you are more than likely to not remember the fact that was present in the card. Instead of having that card at mature, it may be stuck in the relearning or learning phase because a different part of information on the back is something you don't remember. Also, it doesn't help the fact that you may know part of the back part of the card very well. You are more prone to go into ease hell, and it doesn't let you study from detail to detail and attack the content at different info. Even if there are 'less cards', that doesn't necessarily mean much less work. However, it should still adhere to the minimum information principle. I don't disagree with the fact that jacksparrow is comprehensive, and I know certain people prefer to use cards with Q/A. Currently, there aren’t that many people onboard the project and it will take much longer without any help. ![]() If you want to help make a better deck for the MCAT which addresses these concerns and flaws of these premade decks, then feel free to volunteer and contact u/Dinonights.
